Our AV vendor is doing a lot of installs for us. But we need all in one reporting of all Agents not just dong one agent at a time. -One Global Agent Report we can select to run - Select specific date ranges, especially since we may have to report to management before 1st of month and or maybe just want to see what devices may had same issue between 2 dates. - Chart % of up/down devices for the month of all locations/agents. - One chart (pie) total updown % for whole Domotz system for the month/date ranges ect. IF i have hundreds of devices I don't want to have

I'm trying to create one report in Power BI Desktop that shows the following info for our security team. How can I do this: Hostname IP Addresses MAC addresses Type (router, switch, server, et cetera) TCP/UDP services along with ARP and ICMP info OS (+version/build number) List of applications installed per device Basic Hardware information (physical/virtual, attached storage, cpu, NIC state, et cetera)

Thanks for the feedback. From the screenshot, it seems Domotz reads SNMP correctly out of the ICX device. Would you mind connecting with our Support (support@domotz.com) and sharing access to your Agent? In this way our Engineering team can better understand what is going on.
-
Thanks Giancarlo, I'll do so...

Hi Dean, I'm sorry about that, it was not really clear from the API documentation that the default page size for agents list is 10. We recently updated the documentation https://portal.domotz.com/developers/#listagents to mention the default page_size=10 You can increase the page_size param to retrieve all your agents, sorry for the inconvenience

Hi Azza I am having the same issue with the node red integration. It is only pulling 9 sites from the API, the rest of my sites are missing.
-
I believe SguaroBrian connected to our Support and got this resolved. I would suggest doing the same. You can safely share access to your Domotz Agent with our Support, so that they can look into this case.

Hi @Giancarlo, Yes, I have those two fields in there. Please see attached. This particular Brocade/Ruckus is a ICX7250. Do I potentially need a specific firmware?

Also the Domotz Agent included in those VM (which is based on SNAP) is automatically upgraded by the system. You will need to take care of the Kernel and OS upgrades if any (on the other hand, Domotz manage those as well, automatically and completely transactionally on the Domotz Box)

Works well. I understand Domotz Box and Domotz Raspberry Pi update automatically. Will the same happen in the VM built from this image or should I do it manually?

Hi WifilLA, from your description, it is very likely that SNMP is either not enabled on your Ruckus switch, or that community strings do not match with Domotz. Can you check for instance if in Domotz, for that switch, you have the following fields populated? The above highlighted fields are read through SNMP, and it is available by default on all the devices supporting SNMP. If you don't see that field, it means either SNMP is not enabled, or community strings do not match, or Domotz Agent is not able to read SNMP from that device. We recommend using a Mib browser

Do you have any additional information on this? I have one switch connected to SNMP and I would really love the ability to turn POE on and off per port for the devices which are attached. Is that possible? Also, the switch does not show in network topology. Any thoughts on why that might be? Thank you!

Kwiebe, would you mind sharing access to your agent with our Support and contact us (support@domotz.com)? We will look into this for you.

Thanks for highlighting this. We will investigate in this. But as a matter of fact, on Desktop and WebApp strings and content are available to be copied.

Deleted the device but it won't come back - it's up but Domotz not seeing it

Update: The agent is running again, maybe I didn't wait long enough after the NAS reboot. But I still have a device 38:94:ED:27:AA:05 which shows down but it's really up. What happens is I get a Domotz alert first saying it's up, then 3 mins later an alert saying its down. (I never get an initial alert saying its down - the first alert I get for it says it is up) Maybe I should delete the device?

The Domotz agent was running but I noticed it was marking devices down which were not down. So I thought I would restart Synology NAS. NAS restarted OK but Domotz wasn't running. Clicked the Run button and got error: "Cannot start the package, contact Domotz support" What now?

Yep. Missed something simple. I found the "Remove" option for the shared alert. Thanks!

I'm sure I'm missing something simple but I've been unable to find this in the desktop app or via multiple searches. We have a single MS Teams shared alert defined in Domotz. We have applied this shared alert to numerous devices for one of our agents. I would now like to disable and/or remove this shared alert from a certain subset of these devices and can't figure out how to do this. Whenever I go to shared alerts, it shows the one we have defined and there is an Apply button but no indication that it is already applied, thus no method for removing said alert from the

I noticed that on the iOS app I cannot select any text to copy. So I switched to a browser and logged in to copy some data from a device. Nope, not there either. Is there a reason that literally noting on your web pages in the portal is selectable? Using iOS safari with no content blockers.
