Giancarlo posted a topic in Synology NAS
We have great news, our package for the x18 series (2018 Synology Models) was just released, it's under approval process to be available on the Synology store but you can try it manually. We currently support two different architectures, and you can check at the following link which architecture is used by your NAS:https://github.com/SynoCommunity/spksrc/wiki/Architecture-per-Synology-modelPlease download the one for your Architecture:apollolake (DS218+, DS418play, DS718+, DS918+):domotz-syno-apollolake-6.1-2.1.5-1.7.5-b001-0001.spkrtd1296 (DS418j, DS418, DS218, DS218play, DS118) : domotz-syno-rtd1296-6.1-2.1.5-1.7.5-b001-0001.spk Please install it on your Synology NAS and let us know if you have any problems. On the other hand, please let us know if the installation works properly. -
Is anyone aware of a way to get a Synology-based agent to work with multiple VLANs, either over a single interface or multiple interfaces? Running the latest version of DSM 6. In theory I guess I could support up to 4 VLANs using multiple physical connections, but is there anyway that others have done it using multiple eth connections or a single? Thanks, Mike

Reviewed the list of supported devices here: https://www.synology.com/en-uk/dsm/app_packages/Domotz Noticed the DS216se (256MB) was supported, but not the DS216j (512MB). I have a dozen DS216j series systems in place for various clients and was looking to utilize Domotz on their existing hardware. Is this due to the Marvell Armada 385 88F6820 chipset? (Opposed to the Marvell Armada 370 88F6707 in the DS216se) DS216se specs https://www.synology.com/en-us/products/DS216se#spec DS216j specs https://www.synology.com/en-us/products/DS216j#spec Are there any plans to support the Armada 385? Thanks!

I'm in trail for this product and overall it's a nice product. But the main reason I gave this a go is for the RDP session through the NAS, and it doesn't work for me. I get this message: The remote desktop server encountered an error and has closed the connection. Please try again or contact your system administrator. I'm perfectly able to RDP using Windows Remote Desktop over the internet. Not sure what this is. Any help?

Hi, I am testing this software for our networks. I have installed one agent on one of our NAS (synology RS815+) for this purpose.. The agent (scan) is causing a specific type of device to drop off the network. We run 3 24port DSLAM VDSL2 switches for our hotel rooms. When I enable the agent, 5 minutes later all 3 of these switches will go offline, and need to be hard rebooted. If I disable the agent they operate as normal after a reboot, so they obviously do not like something about the way they are scanned.. I don's see any way to disable the scan for a particular device or devices... Is there a way to do this? Disable IP or block of IPs for scan? I cannot continue to test, or validate until I can get around this.. Thanks

We've added official support for the Marvell Armada XP processors now for the Synology builds of Domotz and you can download the agent from the Domotz Portal.
