Hi All,

If you experience any problems when activating a Domotz agent, make sure that Domotz services are accessible on your network using one of these scripts:

Mac/Linux:

1. Download this file with the script and unzip it Firewall_Check_MacLinux.zip

2. Open a terminal and follow to the folder where the files was saved.

3. Add permission to the script:

       $ chmod +x firewall_check.sh

4. Run the script:

       $ ./firewall_check.sh

Windows:

1 - Download and install Nmap for Windows: https://nmap.org/dist/nmap-7.80-setup.exe (Install using the standard options).

2 - Download this file with the script and unzip it Firewall_Check_Windows.zip

3 - There is no need to run the script with Administrator privilegies, run it and check if the connection succeeded:

If one of the connections fails please review your firewall configuration. If you are not sure of what you are seeing run the script and send the output to our support team, we will be glad to assist you: support@domotz.com.

Kind Regards,

Henrique Salvador

nc: getaddrinfo for host "pool.sks-keyservers.net" port 11371: Name or service not known

Can't even resolve pool.sks-keyservers.net
