Can't connect to cloud hosted Unifi Controller

Whenever I try to enter my address, username, password and site ID, domotz goes through 15 tries with the password and I get

The service you are trying to connect to is taking more time than expected to respond, please wait a few minutes and try again.

I'm 100% sure that everything is entered correctly.


What port is domotz connecting through?

Hi, the default https port for unifi controller we use is 8443 but if your controller is on another port you can specify it in the following format [IP or Hostname of the controller]:8000 when entering the value via the "devices external services" feature.


If you are still experiencing that problem please write an email to support@domotz.com where we can follow up with an in-depth investigation of why its happening
