Access Manager Locked Even Though SSH Enabled

Recommended Posts

DSargent

We have numerous switches across several clients and switch brands that will not allow us to unlock the Access Manager. It says that we must enable SSH, yet SSH is enabled and I'm able to connect using the open SSH ports that Domotz discovered.  We have seen this with both HP/Aruba and Cisco switches...even seeing different behavior for the same model switch in the same environment...some unlock and others do not.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The SSH unlock through Access Manager is required in case of support for Configuration Management capability. Some privileges are required on the SSH user on the network device.

For a complete list of currently supported Network devices for the Configuration Management, please refer to:

At the following link, the User Guide for the Configuration Management:

If you are trying to unlock a supported device, please do not hesitate to contact our Support to get assistance.

Entering the commands noted in the article on the supported switches resolved the issue.

Any idea when support for HP/Aruba switches might be coming along?

Thanks!

We hope to have that supported before the end of 2022. Keep an eye on the upcoming Release Notes. We also send monthly newsletter with the new available features and supported systems.
