Monitoring Dell Physical Disks

Hi, we are new to Domotz and wanted to know if domotz has the ability to monitor Dell physical disks. We would like to get alerted when a disk fails or if a disk is predicted to fail. Also, does domotz have the ability to monitor UPS units for dead batteries?

Domotz is currently able to monitor the physical disks out of servers. This is an example from a Dell iDrac:

Similarly, thanks to SNMP templates, Domotz monitors the UPS batteries.

Best way to realize if Domotz fits your needs is leveraging the completely free trial.

Ciao Giancarlo,

Is the monitoring of hard drive space and performance native to domotz or are those SNMP MIB that you added per target ?

Thanks

The monitoring of Hard Drive space (Physical and Logical disks) on the SSH and WinRM enabled devices (e.g. Windows PC/Servers, MacOS laptops, Linux servers, etc) is based on a native integration. You can find more information in:

https://help.domotz.com/user-guide/os-monitoring-feature/

However, for devices supporting SNMP (e.g. NAS drives, different OS systems, etc), we have also created a Pre-Configured SNMP Sensors template to monitor the Volumes and their occupancy:

https://help.domotz.com/user-guide/pre-configured-snmp-sensors/

I hope this helps.
