iMSP
Hi, Message to moderator - Apologies if this is the wrong forum. Please feel free to move or reply with correct forum. New to Domotz. We want to setup Domotz boxes or pi's in schools behind LEA proxy (proxyname.domain:8080). Can anyone tell us how to do this please? Thanks in advance. iMSP Edited June 11, 2016 by iMSP
Silvio
Sorry, I do not think it is possible at the moment to configure domotz behind a http proxy
LFalkenburg
@iMSP what kind of proxy is it? We have several customers mit proxies running (f.e. Sonicwall, ipFire (linux), ...) on these proxies you have the possibility to whitelist IP-/MAC-addresses so that special clients (like your domotz box) get transparent internet. I would suggest to check this.
iMSP
LFalkenburg, Thank you for the suggestion. Since the proxy is administered by the ISP for the schools (not us) I will ask for the IP/MAC address to be whitelisted or a proxy bypass rule created and re-test.
