b1n9
You can leverage Home Automation dashboard Home-Assistant to get status and be able to control a vast amount of components: https://home-assistant.io/components/#all Basically you can connect directly to Home-Assistant's API and leverage them to give you access to all of the items that are above. I do this to make all of those items exposed to homekit which helps me out wonderfully. https://home-assistant.io/ here is how I connect home-assistant to homekit https://github.com/home-assistant/homebridge-homeassistant That is the basics of how to use the home-assistant api https://home-assistant.io/developers/rest_api/ Hopefully that helps you all out
