Brent
[Last Edited on October 7, 2021] Automatic Port Mapping Automated Switch Port Mapping is supported for all the Managed Network switches fully compliant with RFC4188 as well as some network devices partially compliant to the same RFC (e.g. Juniper EX Switches and Routers). PoE Management The PoE control is supported for all Managed Network switches compliant with the RFC3621. Moreover, we do also support Automated Switch Port Mapping & PoE management for the following switches (which might not be compliant with neither of the two RFCs). Giancarlo
Few screenshots related to the Automatic Port Mapping and PoE controls: Automatic Port Mapping - Domotz automatically shows the devices connected to each port of the Switch. If the switch is PoE it also reports the power consumption of the port and the control on the status of the PoE for that port. Details about the port (bandwidth consumption, errors, discarded packets, negotiated bandwidth, etc) are also reported for each switch port: Diagnostics and bandwidth consumption history - for each network switch port, Domotz reports the historical bandwidth consumption, errors and discarded packets, as well as information on the status of the port (admin and config status, negotiated bandwidth, connected device): Direct PoE control on the device connected to the PoE port of the switch - Domotz allows to control the PoE status of the switch port directly from the end device connected to that specific port:
