hdsystems
DirecTV has several models, made by several manufacturers (the same model can be made by a different manufacturer). It will take a little time for Domotz to automatically recognize all the device mac addresses. I also wanted to post the command to retrieve signal strength if Domotz decides to implement it. http://<receiver_ip_address>:8080/serial/processCommand?cmd=FA90
hdsystems
One more note, the Data field that's returned is the signal strength for the current channel in hex format.
jakeSAV
I have been speaking with Domotz about this (and signal strength) and have supplied them with some test hardware and the DTV protocol and they are said to be working on it. I also do not see the reboot command though on our end either.
hdsystems
Hopefully they can figure out a way to monitor and reboot client devices that are accessed via the ip of the genie and their individual mac address. I know the reboot string is in the protocol. I've noticed several more boxes being recognized and have the reboot command. Still have some DVR's that aren't.
