Since previous Release Notes new versions of Domotz Agent and Domotz Pro App have been released.

In order to fully exploit the new features, functionalities and bug fixes released, please make sure you have installed the latest version of:

  • Domotz Pro Mobile App: check on Apple Store or Google Play. Latest version as of today is 1.4.3

  • Domotz Agent: check on Domotz Portal under the license tab. Latest version as per today is 1.3.7

  • Violet Digital Support: check on Apple Store or Google Play. Latest version as of today is 1.1.6

Domotz Pro WebApp is already updated to the latest version.

February 7th, 2017

Domotz Pro App: 1.4.3 - Domotz Agent: 1.3.7 Violet 1.1.6

What's new:

  • VLAN and Network configuration available through the Agent Local Web Interface (port 3000)

  • Connect Multiple devices on a single PDU outlet

  • Agent History log: the Report & Logging tile available through Agent Dashboard now reports the latest agent logging (so far it includes Remote Connections and diary notes)

  • Cresnet Tile with Cresnet Nodes

  • Custom Offline configuration for devices

  • Ability to disable automatic speed tests

  • Global configuration to manage the automatic “importance” heuristic for new devices

  • Disable alerts for a specific agent

  • Mobile and Web App is now much faster on large networks

  • Search tab within Mobile and Web App is now retained when navigating through devices

  • Multiple selection and actions have been optimized

  • Multiple selection: configure Type, Zone and Location

  • Alert management has been redesigned in order to be more user friendly. A direct link to the end device has also been added.

  • Additional support for switches (See PoE switch charts)

    • Luxul  AMS-4424P

    • Draytek VigorSwitch P1100/P2261

    • Cisco Catalyst 3650

  • Additional support for Middle Atlantic PDU models: (See PDU charts)

    • RLNK-1015V

    • RLNK-1615V

    • RLNK-415

    • RLNK-915R

    • RLNK-SW215-NS

    • RLNK-SW815R-SP

    • RLNK-215

  • Domotz Badge reported also in case of Multi-VLAN configuration

  • New network chip vendors to be considered as Control 4

  • Middle Atlantic vendor name is not cut on WebApp

  • Network information retrieved by the Agent is more reliable (it was showing always N/A on certain networks)

  • Report emails containing attachment are not discarded by most of the recent email client and servers

  • Violet SpeedTest graphs were not scaling

  • Remote Connection failures have been reduced

Known limitations:

  • SNMP/Bojour/UPNP Data is shared between devices with the same IP. Therefore collision of IP (e.g. retrieved through DHCP) might affect the device heuristic recognition

  • Domotz Report might report sporadic erroneous number on Uptime of the network

  • Domotz Report reports incorrectly the Room instead of Location, and Location instead of Zone

  • Simultaneous Remote Connections might override each other in terms of cookies

  • User and Team Member creation might fail during backend deployment stages, requiring Domotz Support to revert

  • DirecTV is currently recognized only for specific chip vendor (i.e. HUMAX)

  • Control4 – ZigBee tile only rely on a single controller (even though multiple controller might be implemented in a job)

  • Automatic provisioning and agent upgrades might stuck due to local network issues (e.g. Time configuration, disconnection, low bandwidth), requiring Domotz Support to revert
