TriMan66 0
I purchased one of the raspberry Pi boxes and got it configured initially. A later reboot after an automatic update has left it hanging during the boot process. I can't login to the console because it never gets to a login prompt. The Web service crashes so I can't access it through its Web portal. I can get an ssh connection but I haven't been able to login to it remotely.
TriMan66 0
Got into the TUI (Text User Interface) now that I can access a command line Linux Shell I can start some investigating into what went wrong. CTRL + ALT + F1 screen has the following: [FAILED] Failed to start LSB: domotz. see 'systemctl status domotz.service' for details [ OK ] Reached target Multi-User System. [ OK ] Reached target Graphical Interface. [ OK ] Reached target Domotz Box Bootstrap. Starting Update UTMP about System Runlevel Changes... [ OK ] Started Update UTMP about System Runlevel Changes. That's as far as it gets, from command line on TUI I can get the following: systemctl status domotz.service domotz.service - LSB: domotz Loaded: loaded (/etc/init.d/domotz) Active: failed (Result: timeout) since Mon 2017-06-26 00:57:26 UTC: 11min ago Process: 679 ExecStart=/etc/init.d/domotz start (code=killed, signal=TERM)
Giancarlo 50
Hi TriMan66, I would recommend contacting our support (support(at)domotz.com) providing the MAC address of the Raspberry Pi hanging during the boot. I am quite sure they will find a way to restore the situation through the provisioning channel. Regards, Giancarlo
