CntryDoe
Seems like it does not want to install on my Synology. Anyone see this error yet? Giancarlo
Hi CntryDoe,The package you tried to install seems to be the correct one. Unfortunately the error returned by Synology is not very exhaustive to perform a troubleshooting analysis. There is a more exhaustive log on the system to start the analysis: can you please provide us with the content of /var/log/synopkg.log?(it should be available through ssh connection to the DiskStation). If you are able to retrieve this log, or not, can you please email us at beta@domotz.com, and we'll follow this offline directly? Thanks

Giancarlo
ilkevinli, good point. Thanks a lot for pointing that out.For sure you have to allow the installation of packages published by "Any publisher", since Domotz is not yet a package released by Synology itself. However, I suspect the issue experienced by CntryDoe is something slightly different, since the error reported if you do not enable "Any publisher" is the following:"This package does not contain a digital signature"while the Error experienced by CntryDoe is something after that, and it might be related with the architecture (32 bit vs 64 bit).We are preparing a package that should fix the issue experienced on DS415Play model. matthewc01
I'm getting the exact same error with my DS214play which uses the same Intel Atom CE5335 chip as the DS415play
Giancarlo
Hi Matthew,as per the issue experienced by CntryDoe, the Synology you are using (DS415Play) is an x86 based architecture (32 bit). Therefore, since the package you were trying to install is an x64 based package (64 bit), it fails during the installation. We have built a package for your x86 architecture (32 bit), and uploaded it on the forum. You can find the package at the following link:<< Currently Removed >>Please note that at the moment we haven't performed exhaustive tests on this type architecture, but we are confident that it works the same way of the packages for x64 or Armada 370 and 375 architectures, since we used the official toolchains provided by Synology.Any feedback on the installation process and then on the configuration process, is more than welcome in this phase. Thanks for your interest in Domotz and welcome on board of Domotz beta testing Edited October 16, 2015 by Giancarlo

Hi, yeah same error as well for me with the new 32bit package. Thanks Matthewc01 for testing as well. Are you getting the same error "The package is not supported on the platform of DiskStation" with 32Bit package? When possible, can you send the /var/log/synopkg.log to beta@domotz.com?
Giancarlo
matthewc01, CntryDoe, we have built a package with the support for Evansport architecture (32bit) which is the one recommended for Synology DS415play and DS415play. Please find below the link to the package:domotz-syno-evansport-5.1-0.9.3-109.spk Edited October 16, 2015 by Giancarlo
CntryDoe
This latest version installs just fine! Thanks for the update. One thing I've noticed: When accessing DSM over https: the icon for Domotz does not work correctly. It points to https://NASip:3000 instead of http://NASip:3000
Giancarlo
One thing I've noticed: When accessing DSM over https: the icon for Domotz does not work correctly. It points to https://NASip:3000 instead of http://NASip:3000 Thanks CntryDoe for your feedback. With regard to the link of the icon: we will fix in further versions of the package. It works fine as far as the Synology is only configured on port 5000 (http), but wrongly forward to port 3000 on https when Synology is configured on 5001 (https), even though, so far, the Domotz Agent runs on http only.Anyway, as you noticed, you can still directly access to the right address (http://NASip:3000) or follow the link you find under Package Center --> Domotz App (instead of the Icon link on the Dashboard).
